NOTD: April 27, 2014

This ugly-ish mani is Sparitual Mystic (from this haul). I started and finished with Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat, this was two coats of Sparitual.

I don't like this colour on me, but was impressed with the formula, and think it'll be interesting under some glitters.

Julep Maven April 2014

For April I went with Bombshell again (bit of a shocker that the Julep quiz tells me I'm Classic with a Twist, I'm signed up as an It Girl, and I keep picking Bombshell!)

This month with the two polish, Julep's Pore Minimizing Blush was also included with two shade options.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of blush provided (glad they didn't pull another DD Concealer on us with sample sized products!)

I am worried that Tatum is similar to Mackenzie, but will report back once I've worn it!

Which box did you pick?

I'm passing on the May box, not interested in the Plie Wand.

NOTD: April 23, 2014

Not exactly a spring colour, but I love this teal shimmer! This is one coat (!) of Julep Kristen (from my February Maven box) over butter London Nail Foundation.

This put butter London to the test! And it did well! You should have seen my cuticles and hands after removing this polish! Corpse hands made this one-coater  lose some points with me as any time saved painting nails is more than lost upon removal!

Isn't this a pretty spring purple? This is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Violet Voltage over and under my Orly Top2Bottom base and top coat.

April 12th Haul!

Another amazing deal found at Marshall's! I found a set of 10 Spa Ritual mini nail polish for $16 (I'd picked it up on a previous shopping trip at $30 only to decide it was too pricey, so couldn't say no when I saw it almost half price!)

This is two coats of Sephora by OPI Berry Tale Romance (from the Jasmine nail set I bought here). I started and finished with my Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat to make it super shiny.

I think this colour is perfect any time of the year!

I did expect this polish to be more sheer, so was surprised when it was opaque in two coats!

Yay for blues! This is two coats of butter London Artful Dodger over butter London Nail Foundation with Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat to top it off.

The colour wasn't exactly what I was expecting it's more smoky and grey than I thought, but I like it overall!
