Hey readers! Just to give an overview of what to expect on this blog: I love make up, movies, TV, books, and food (especially desserts - yum!). So this blog will likely cover those topics, but could go off topic every once in a while, depends how I feel.

What a perfect feminine mani for this lovely spring weather! This is 2 coats of Anna Sui Minnie Mouse 300 Nail Color N (from this haul). I used NYC Matte Me Crazy as the base and Orly Top2Bottom as the topper.
This polish is a bit pricey regularly (at approximately $15 / bottle), but I found this on sale for $8 at Winners and couldn't resist! I love the colour, really bright and fun!
Something I did not expect about the polish is the smell. When this dries it has a rose scent to it. Pretty strong the first few days, but it vanished almost entirely by day 3 - and I used a topper! The scent isn't my favourite - I'm more sweet and fruity than floral, but it did make the polish feel more luxe.
Have you tried Anna Sui polish? Do they all have a rose scent?

Today's mani is 2 coats of Lise Watier Topaze (from this haul) with 2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Fashion (from this haul). I used NYC Matte Me Crazy as the base and Wet N' Wild Fast Dry as the topper.
I thought this was a nice but not boring neutral look, just enough shimmer and contrast!

Mini US Haul
On a recent trip to Buffalo I picked up the following items from Ulta
L to R: Laura Geller Beauty Just Berry 2 Piece Set for Lips and Cheeks: Color Drenched Lip Gloss in Berry Crush, Blush N Brighten Baked Blush in Roseberry, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha
I'm quite happy with this mini-haul. The blush is amazing - very pigmented and easy to blend. I was worried the colour would be too much on my fair skin, but I quite like it! The NYX pencil is another nice neutral addition to my eye shadow pencils and is borderline work and going out appropriate!

The last 2 polishes from my Quo by ORLY Sugar Collection (see this haul). This is 2 coats of Bubblegum Bitch with 1 coat of Liquor is Quicker as the accent. I didn't use a base coat or a top coat for this mani.
I was really impressed with Liquor is Quicker being a one coater!

March Empties!
Better late than never right? Here are my empties from March! And they're all full-sized!
L to R: Ducray Squanorm Shampoo, Dr. Scholl's Odour Destroyers All Day Deodorant
Ducray Squanorm Shampoo: still the best anti-dandruff shampoo I've tried. See original review here.
Dr. Scholl's Odour Destroyers All Day Deodorant: I'll admit, my feet get smelly when they're in nylons all day at work - I spray this generously over my feet in the morning before getting dressed and it keeps the smell at bay and helps my dress shoes last longer. I've repurchased but might want to check out other brands.
L to R: Aveeno Positively Nourishing Moisturize Shampoo, Manitoulin Island Creations Foaming Bath Oil in Sweet Pea
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Moisturize Shampoo: See original review here.
Manitoulin Island Creations Foaming Bath Oil in Sweet Pea: I think this came in a prize bag - this is a locally-made bath oil, the company doesn't appear to have a website, so the only way I could repurchase would be to head up to Erin and checkout the storefront. I like the concept of a foaming bath oil, however given my busy schedule I haven't had a bath in years. I used this mostly as a foaming shower gel and it did the trick - a little goes a long way with this type of formula. The scent of sweet pea was spicy yet fresh to my nose, but not something I would buy again.
